Segment Electric Field Drive

Segment electric field drive is used to drive an entire cable segment. This includes all conductors of, and all locations on, the segment, as illustrated below. And number of segments can be so driven in a cable system. It should be realized that these electric field sources are unaffected by the presence and response of the MHARNESS® cable. Segment electric field drive is useful when obtaining the fields from another solver to be used as sources to drive an entire cable segment.
