Shield Transfer Impedance

The shield transfer impedance specifies how energy couples through shields to interact with internal conductors. The nature and extent of energy coupling through the shield depends upon the shield type. The shield type specifies the nature of the transfer impedance. The transfer impedance relates the driving voltage on one side of the shield (the interior for example), to the current on the other side of the shield (the exterior for example). There are six shield types available. These are discussed below
