Shield Transfer Inductance

A shield transfer impedance can be specified using a constant transfer inductance. Many shields possess a transfer inductive component. A transfer inductance imparts a frequency dependent type behavior to the shield causing greater coupling at higher frequencies. Many manufacturers of cable shields will provide transfer inductance information. A transfer inductance can be specified in addition to a transfer resistance (see Section 5.9.3).
