STK File | ![]() |
If the user is using STK for mission modeling and have a given environment file, this can be loaded into CHARGE in the Excitations section which will automatically be converted to the appropriate format for CHARGE. The steps are incredibly simple to import.
In the Excitation section, click on the Particles button and then Add Particle Source to add a particle source to the Simulation tree under Sources. The source properties menu will come up with its available options.
Switch the spectrum type to STK and open the Energy Spectrum subsection. Before moving on make sure STK is open. Next provide an reference name, then hit load. This will load the relevant information into the GUI. Once synced the InSync button should appear blue.
With the information synced you will still need adjust the Particle Type, General, and Geometry Options parameters. Now the Particle Source has been fully defined and you are ready to continue to the rest of the simulation setup, which would be going to the Definitions section and define all the material of the model and any boundary conditions, which is eventually followed by meshing the model.
