Boundary | ![]() |
The domain boundary settings can be set within the domain Properties Panel under Boundary.
The boundary condition can be individually assigned for each face of the simulation domain or the same boundary condition can be assigned to all faces of the simulation domain using the All entry.
Entry | Meaning |
---|---|
All | Sets the same boundary condition to all faces of the solution domain |
-X | Sets the boundary condition on the lower YZ face |
+X | Sets the boundary condition on the upper YZ face |
-Y | Sets the boundary condition on the lower XZ face |
+Y | Sets the boundary condition upper XZ face |
-Z | Sets the boundary condition on the lower XY face |
+Z | Sets the boundary condition on the upper XY face |
Layer Count (PML condition only) | The number of perfectly matched layers to be applied to the solution domain face |
Order (PML condition only) | The order of the conductivity function. It specifies how the conductivity increases from the front to the back layer |
Reflection [%] (PML condition only) | The amount of electromagnetic energy reflected back into the numerical problem space |
