PCB Transfer Function

This tutorial demonstrates how the EMC Limit Curve tool and transfer function features are utilized in EMC Plus. The simulation involves exciting a gaussian-pulsed plane wave onto a simplified PCB enclosure. A transfer function based on the shielding effectiveness of the enclosure is produced from this process. Relevant information regarding the susceptibility of the device can then be recovered, and the resulting transfer function can be compared to an EMC envelope that represents real-life regulatory limits.
