MHARNESS supports starting the simulation from an existing simulation file. The From File button Start File Image 16 is the same in both the EMA3D and MHARNESS panels, and users may select it under either tab.

Start and run the simulation from an existing simulation file

  1. Under the MHARNESS tab in the ribbon, click the From File Start File Image 16 button within the Analysis section.

  2. In the pop-up window, navigate to the .inp file of the simulation that is going to be run. Select the file and click Open.

  3. The simulation will immediately begin to run.

  4. The analysis panel, located near the structure and simulation panels, will show the progress and status of the simulation, as well as any runtime errors.
