Simple Satellite FEM |  |
This tutorial serves as an introduction to the Finite Element Method (FEM) Surface Charging simulation type for a more complex satellite geometry. This tutorial is meant to be completed after an introductory user performs the Simple Sat BEM tutorial. The satellite model is subjected to a GEO plasma environment, but other important workflow differences between BEM and FEM are highlighted to demonstrate the technique required to simulate GEO plasma with the FEM.
